C. Heavy Types of Soils. Most of the plants in this group are notof a deep-rooted type and are better adapted for use in the heavy typesof soil. These plants, under normal conditions, should be planted inheavy clay soil which is not well drained. This list is compiled forreference where the extreme of clayey soil conditions exist and aparticularly safe group of plants is desired from which to select.
