The plants in Groups A, B, and C of this list include the hardy typesof trees and shrubs. All of these types have been known to thriveunder the severe exposures of lake shore and river frontage throughoutthe northeastern United States. Most of these plants are adapted foruse on the slopes so often found along rivers and lakes.
